Leave the vibrant energy of Marrakech behind and journey west toward the Atlantic coast. As you drive, admire the rustic landscapes dotted with argan trees and traditional Berber villages. Along the way, stop at a women’s argan oil cooperative to see how the precious oil is traditionally made and learn about its many benefits.
When you arrive in Essaouira, immerse yourself in its relaxed seaside charm. Wander through the narrow alleys of the medina, alive with artisans, cafés, and colorful markets. Visit the lively fishing port and walk along the historic ramparts for sweeping views of the ocean.
You’ll have around four hours of free time to explore at your own pace — try local seafood, browse for handicrafts, relax on the beach, or simply soak up the laid-back atmosphere. In the late afternoon, regroup and enjoy a scenic drive back to Marrakech.
